Delete your account

The fastest and most secure deletion path is inside Vignetra. A verified email route is available if you no longer have access to the app.

Applies to Vignetra accounts created with Apple or Google sign-in
Original photos and videos are not deleted. They remain in your device photo library because Vignetra does not own or store them.

Delete in the app

  1. Open Vignetra.
  2. Tap Privacy in the bottom navigation.
  3. Scroll to the account controls and choose Delete account.
  4. Review the deletion message and confirm.

Vignetra clears the signed-in account’s cloud metadata and the app’s local indexes on that device. You may need to reauthenticate for security.

Request deletion without the app

Email privacy@vignetra.com with the subject “Vignetra account deletion request.” Include the username and email or private relay address associated with the account. Do not send a password, provider authentication code, face image, or photo-library content.

We will ask for enough information to verify that you control the account. Verification protects users against malicious deletion requests. Once verified, we will process the request within the time required by applicable law and confirm completion by email.

What the request removes

  • the Vignetra Firebase authentication account;
  • profile information and unique username association;
  • synced moment titles, notes, location corrections, hidden or viewed state, and preferences;
  • associated Vignetra entitlement, allowance, and account-integrity records where deletion is not legally restricted;
  • local Vignetra indexes on a device when deletion is completed through that device.

Face groups, face feature data, person names, visual embeddings, and thumbnails are local rather than account-synced. In-app deletion clears them on that device. If you request deletion only by email, uninstall Vignetra or clear its app data on each device you control to remove local copies.

Limited retention

Vignetra may retain narrowly limited security, fraud-prevention, transaction, legal, or backup records for the period required by law or reasonably needed to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims. Those records are isolated from normal product use where feasible. Deleting a Vignetra account does not cancel a subscription managed by Apple or Google; cancel it separately in your app-store subscription settings.
